In her own words:
“I have been training since June 2009 at XSport Naperville (IL) and have never looked back. I started because I had overcome some health challenges, and wanted to see how much more I could achieve. Other obstacles have come my way, but I look at them as a learning opportunity as I ask myself: What do I need right now? How can I work with my shortcomings? How can I work with my strengths? At times of difficulty or challenge, instead of sitting around and waiting for change, I try to find ways to not only make the best of not-so-best times, but to grow emotionally and physically – to BE IN SHAPE means to be emotionally and physically fit!”
To Anjali, bodybuilding is a personal challenge – you have to have patience. No shortcut is ever going to get you what you want for yourself. Only hard work, persistence, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice will pave the way for success.
