I’ve been involved in sports for as long as I can remember!  It was one of those things that I was always good at.  One of my passions is taekwondo, a Korean martial art in which I’ve been training for 10 years.

However, in 2011, I wanted to make a change in my life. I wanted something new and fresh.  At that time, I was really skinny, at a weight of 102 pounds, and could barely do taekwondo anymore. I decided to begin lifting weights and after a week in the gym, I was hooked!  My next goal was to compete in a fitness show within 4 months.

I spoke to some personal trainers at my gym about training me for the show, but most of them told me to give myself more time because I was so skinny.  But I did NOT listen!

I trained really hard and competed at that show, where I won 2nd place!

Self-belief is ALL YOU NEED!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was so proud of my self!!  After that show, I did not want to stop!  I’ve competed 4 times now and my goal is to be the first Icelandic IFBB pro!!  I don’t listen to people who tell me I CANT do something!  I have BIG dreams and I will work hard on making them come true!
